Terms of Service

Last updated 18 September 2026

scrubb.io offers three free image tools to subscribers of the Vibe Coder Videos YouTube channel. By using the site you agree to what follows.

1. Who can use it

The tools are free and are offered to subscribers of the channel. Signing in with Google is how the site checks that. We may change, limit or withdraw access at any time, and we may stop offering the site altogether without notice.

2. What the watermark test actually claims

Read this one before relying on a result. The watermark test measures specific properties of an image's pixel noise and reports what it finds. It is not an official detector, it is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google, and it produces no certificate of anything.

A positive result means the image carries the pattern the test looks for. A negative result means that pattern was not found, which is not the same as proving an image is unmarked or that it was not generated by AI. The test can be wrong in both directions, and processing such as heavy compression, resizing or cropping can change the answer.

Do not use it as evidence in any dispute, legal matter, academic submission, journalistic claim, moderation decision or anything else where being wrong carries a cost. It is a curiosity and a measurement tool, nothing more.

3. Use the tools lawfully, and on your own images

Upload only images you own or otherwise have the right to process. Do not use the site to break the law, to infringe anyone's rights, or to misrepresent the origin of content.

Removing metadata or reducing noise in an image does not change who made it or who owns it, and it does not make an AI-generated image not AI-generated. Several platforms and jurisdictions require AI-generated content to be disclosed. Meeting those obligations is yours, and using these tools does not discharge them. Do not use this site to pass off generated images as photographs, to strip provenance in order to deceive, or to defeat any disclosure requirement that applies to you.

4. Don't overload it

This runs on modest shared hosting. Please do not script it, scrape it, run bulk jobs through it, or otherwise interfere with its operation. Uploads are capped at 40 MB and 40 megapixels. We may rate-limit or block use that degrades the site for others.

5. Your images

You keep all rights to anything you upload. We claim no ownership and no license beyond what is needed to produce your result. Uploads are deleted within 30 minutes, or immediately if you press the delete button. See the Privacy Policy for detail.

Keep your own copy of anything that matters. The site is not storage and is not backed up.

6. No warranty

The site is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. It may be unavailable, produce wrong results, or lose your work. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any damage or loss arising from your use of it, including lost or altered images and decisions made on the strength of a result.

7. Trademarks, and no affiliation with Google or YouTube

SynthID is a trademark of Google LLC. Google, YouTube and Gemini are trademarks of Google LLC. All other product and company names mentioned on this site are the trademarks of their respective owners. They are used here only to describe what the tools do — nominative reference to the thing being detected — and their use does not imply any affiliation or endorsement.

scrubb.io is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Google LLC, YouTube, or any image generator whose output it may be used on. Signing in with Google is also subject to Google's own terms.

8. Patents, and how to reach us about a rights claim

This site was built from independent measurement of publicly available images. No code, model, key or specification belonging to any vendor was used, obtained or reverse engineered to make it. To the best of our knowledge no patent is infringed by operating it: what the site does is measure statistical properties of pictures that people already have, which is not the act of applying or distributing anyone's watermarking technology.

That is a good-faith belief, not a legal opinion, and we would rather hear about a problem than argue about one. If you hold rights you believe this site infringes — patent, trademark, copyright or anything else — or if you want content or a tool taken down, write to vibecodervideos@gmail.com with enough detail to identify the right and the material at issue. Notices are read by a person and acted on promptly, and nothing here is intended to operate against a rights holder's wishes.

9. Our content

The site, its text and its code are ours unless stated otherwise. The methods behind the tools are not published, and you agree not to attempt to reverse engineer, probe or extract them, including by automated querying designed to map how the test behaves.

10. Changes

These terms may change. The date at the top will change with them, and continuing to use the site means accepting the current version.
